Και στις δύο περιπτώσεις -τότε και σήμερα- κυριαρχεί το μίσος εναντίον
των Εβραίων. Και σήμερα διαμορφώνεται ένα νέο κλίμα εβραιοφοβίας που απειλεί
όχι μόνο τους Έλληνες Εβραίους αλλά και την ευημερία του συνόλου των πολιτών.
Διότι η ιστορία διδάσκει ότι ο αντισημιτισμός ξεκινάει την πορεία του με στόχο
τους Εβραίους αλλά δεν σταματά ποτέ στους Εβραίους.
Παρατηρούμε με θλίψη την ανοχή που δείχνουν οι αρχές της πολιτείας και
οι κοινωνικοί φορείς απέναντι σε αυτό το νέο κύμα φανατισμού που εκδηλώνεται
εναντίον Εβραίων πολιτών του Κράτους του Ισραήλ που επισκέπτονται τη χώρα μας
είτε επειδή αγαπούν τη φύση της και τους ανθρώπους της είτε επειδή θέλουν να
επενδύσουν και να συμβάλλουν στην ανάπτυξη των οικονομικών συναλλαγών μεταξύ
των δύο λαών. Αυτά τα “τάγματα εφόδου” και οι οπαδοί τους επιδιώκουν να
υπονομεύσουν τις στρατηγικής σημασίας σχέσεις μεταξύ Ελλάδας και Ισραήλ σε μια
περίοδο αστάθειας στην ανατολική Μεσόγειο που απειλεί την ασφάλεια και των δύο
χωρών.
Είμαστε βέβαιοι ότι τα «τάγματα εφόδου» του 2026 θα απομονωθούν και θα
ηττηθούν, όπως ηττήθηκαν τα «τάγματα εφόδου» της Χρυσής Αυγής του 2012, και ότι
τελικά η Ελληνική κοινωνία και η Ελληνική Πολιτεία του 2026 θα υπερασπιστούν
τις αξίες της Δημοκρατίας και του πολιτισμού και δεν θα επιτρέψουν την
υπονόμευσή τους από τους οπαδούς του μίσους και του φανατισμού.

ASSAULT SQUADS IN THESSALONIKI ON JUNE 27, 2026!
Ninety-five years ago, the
black-shirted members of the "assault squads" targeted and persecuted
Jews. On June 27, 2026 —exactly 95
years later— black-shirted individuals wearing Palestinian flags on their
T-shirts organized new "assault squads" in Thessaloniki to
"patrol" the city's main streets, threatening and intimidating Jews,
Zionists, Israelis, tourists, and business owners. Back then, following the
launch of a campaign of hatred in 1928, certain political forces and media
helped cultivate an antisemitic climate that culminated on the night of June 29–30,
1931, when organized attacks were carried out against the Jewish neighborhoods
of Thessaloniki, resulting in the arson of the ‘Campbell’ Jewish quarter.
In both cases —then and now— the
driving force has been hatred against Jews. Today, a new climate of Judeophobia
is once again taking shape, threatening not only Greek Jews but also the
well-being of society as a whole. History teaches us that antisemitism begins
by targeting Jews, but it never ends with Jews.
It is with deep concern that we
observe the tolerance shown by state authorities and civil society institutions
toward this new wave of fanaticism directed against Jewish citizens of the
State of Israel visiting our country —whether because they cherish its natural
beauty and its people, or because they wish to invest and contribute to the
development of economic cooperation between our two peoples. These “assault
squads” and their followers seek to undermine the strategically important
relationship between Greece and Israel at a time of instability in the Eastern
Mediterranean that poses a threat to the security of both countries.
We are confident that the
"assault squads" of 2026 will be isolated and defeated, just as the
"assault squads" of Golden Dawn were defeated in 2012, and that, in
the end, Greek society and the Greek State of 2026 will uphold the values of
democracy and civilization and will not allow them to be undermined by the
advocates of hatred and fanaticism.
